BTPN Develops SME Business through Daya Tumbuh Usaha Mitra Bisnis Program

Madiun, Februari 1, 2018 – PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Tbk (BTPN) believes that direct involvement in coaching and empowering customers is the key to continuous business performance growth, and it is in line with BTPN’s consistency and focus in serving the low income market segment.

Therefore, BTPN implements a business model that integrates both social and business missions in its products, services and daily activities. The synergy of both missions is reflected in Daya. Daya is a sustainable and measurable empowering program by BTPN. Daya is dedicated to all BTPN customers which consist of retirees, MSMEs and productive poor community.

”The core of this program is we become the customers’ partner in achieving their business growth. We strongly believes that to be able to grow, our customers do not only need financial access but also empowerment to increase their business capacity,” said Michael Jermia Tjahjamulia, BTPN Business Strategy & Alignment Head Business Banking.

BTPN Mitra Bisnis is a BTPN business unit which is specially designed to serve the needs of small and medium enterprises (SME) through reliable financial solution, developing business capacity and opening access to bigger markets. ”This business unit is one of our most important innovations in serving the SMEs,” Michael said.

BTPN Mitra Bisnis is present with numerous products and banking services to support the needs of customers’ working capitals and investments. Beside products and financing-related services, BTPN Mitra Bisnis provides non-financial solution supports to help customers develop their capacities in running their business in the Daya program. Through the Daya Tumbuh Usaha Mitra Bisnis, customers gain successful business inspiration, deepening their insight and widening their network among BTPN Mitra Bisnis customers.

”We have different topics specially designed based on the customers’ needs, for example business tax by presenting tax consultants, making financial reports, legal aspects in business, and also increasing the marketing through digital media. Those forums are expected to inspire our customers to keep innovating so they can catch up with technology development today,” said Michael.

To support the business process which is oriented to the needs and comfort of customers, BTPN Mitra Bisnis also makes use of digital platform. With an adjustable service to each customer, Michael hopes BTPN Mitra Bisnis can serve SMEs to develop their businesses and at the end they can support the economic growth of the society.
