Jenius is officially present in Yogyakarta and Semarang For a simple, smart and save Life Finance solution


Yogyakarta, May 3, 2019 – Jenius, life finance solution for digital savvy, is now officially present in Yogyakarta and Semarang. Since being introduced for the first time in August 2016, Jenius has received warm welcome from Indonesian digital savvy. Jenius has been available in the Greater Jakarta, Surabaya, Malang, Medan and Makassar, and now Jenius is launched in Yogyakarta and Semarang.

Based on a research by Nielsen, in the past five years 37 percent of Indonesian people are using smartphones whereas the use of Internet daily has increased by 22 percent. On the Jenius Financial Study survey result, called the Indonesia Digital Savvy Behavior 2019, Jenius reviews digital influence to the conventional behavior of digital savvy in Indonesia. The study was conducted on 2,055 respondents in 11 major cities of Indonesia, including Palembang. Based on the study, the Gen Z group (below 24 years old), Gen Y (25-38 years old), Gen X (39-53 years old) and the Baby Boomers (54-68 years old) have accessed different applications through their smartphones, including entertainment, chatting and finance. In the same study, it was found that in average, digital savvy in Indonesia accessed internet for 4.7 hours per day. Whereas digital savvy in Yogyakarta used internet for 5 hours in average while in Semarang 6 hours in average.

With Nielsen, we are doing financial study to see the phenomenon in several major cities, including Yogyakarta and Semarang. The unique features in Jenius are, among others, Sent It that can be used to transfer money and pay telephone bills, credit card, e-commerce, internet, pay TV, transportation and top up mobile phone through smartphones. The $Cashtag feature gives options for customers to remember and share the information of their account number because it is created with names instead of numbers.

 

As a comprehensive financial management solution, Jenius offers several savings in one Jenius account such as Flexi Saver, Dream Saver and Maxi Saver. Flexi Saver is a flexible saving with attractive interest that can be withdrawn or deposited anytime without time specific. The Dream Saver can be used for specific purpose and can be automatically withdrawn from active balance be it daily, weekly or monthly. Meanwhile, the Maxi Saver is a time deposit from Jenius with optimum interest. Each Jenius customer can open a saving without the need to line up in the branch office and can flexibly decide the saving period from one to 12 months.

 

Apart from that, each Jenius customer has the opportunity to get up to five debit cards with Visa and GPN network that can be used to allocate the financing according to their needs. Jenius debit card consists of the main debit card (m-Card), the virtual debit card (e-Card) and the additional debit card (x-Card) that can be used in the ATM Bersama/Prima network. It also has the e-Wallet Center feature that can be used to top-up Go-Pay, OVO, Link Aja and M-Tix.
