Jenius Introduces GarudaMiles for Real-Time Redemption of Travel Category Yay Points, directly from the Jenius App
Jakarta, 23 February 2024 - Jenius from Bank BTPN unveils its newest GarudaMiles reward for redeeming Yay Points - points on the Jenius Credit Card in the Travel category. This addition further enriches the Travel category rewards for Yay Points redemption, introduced in October 2022.

The redemption of Yay Points can be done directly in real-time through the Jenius app, eliminating the need for complicated phone calls or prolonged waits. This exemplifies the spirit of "Think Unthinkable" that Jenius embraces, consistently innovating and introducing features in ways that never thought of before. Similarly, the redemption process of Yay Points to GarudaMiles can also be seamlessly carried out in real-time directly from the Jenius app.

The addition of GarudaMiles as a reward in the Travel category expands the options for redeeming Yay Points, providing more variety and customization for holidays. Jenius users can now enjoy domestic vacations more comfortably by redeeming Yay Points for GarudaMiles in real-time directly from the Jenius app, exploring favorite domestic destinations such as Bali, Lombok, Labuan Bajo, Surabaya, Medan, Banda Aceh, Yogyakarta, and various other domestic destinations. Additionally, Jenius users can utilize GarudaMiles for free flights or upgrade flights to Business Class.
Jenius believes that every credit card transaction is worthwhile because #SemuaAdaPoinnyas. Users can make the most of their spending, as each transaction of Rp10,000 with the Jenius Credit Card earns them 1 Yay Point. Furthermore, users can optimize their Yay Points collection with Double Yay, where 1 Yay Point is equivalent to Rp5,000. Double Yay Points automatically apply to foreign currency transactions abroad (online or offline) and transactions in selected categories. There are four options for Double Yay categories: Beauty & Fashion, Food & Beverages, Travel & Leisure, and Groceries & Gasoline.
GarudaMiles is Garuda Indonesia's loyalty program for passengers flying its airline services (also extending to partner airlines within the SkyTeam alliance). Passengers can collect GarudaMiles, redeeming for a range of rewards, including Award Tickets to preferred destinations or Upgrade Awards from Economy Class to Business Class across various flight routes. Moreover, GarudaMiles provides additional benefits such as a specialized check-in counter at the airport, extra baggage allowance, priority baggage handling, priority waitlisting for flight reservations, and access to the Garuda Indonesia airport lounge.
Jenius users can benefit from a competitive conversion rate, with 1 Yay Points equal to 1 GarudaMiles, and can be redeemed starting from 15,000 Yay Points (equivalent to 15,000 GarudaMiles). The earning rate becomes even more advantageous with Double Yay, converting 1 GarudaMiles for transactions worth Rp5,000. This exclusive offer applies to transactions in foreign currencies abroad (online & offline) or transactions in selected categories.
Jenius is also offering a bonus of up to 10,000 GarudaMiles, exclusively applicable for the redemption of 15,000 Yay Points to GarudaMiles through the Jenius app on February 29, 2024, from 00:00 to 23:59 WIB.
