Makassar, July 4, 2024 - Jenius, a life finance solution from Bank BTPN, is once again collaborating with Pocari Sweat as a co-title sponsor in the Pocari Sweat Run Indonesia 2024. This hybrid event is set for 20– 21 July 2024 in Bandung, West Java. In its second year, Jenius' continued sponsorship promotes the Think Unthinkable spirit, encouraging runners to pursue healthy lifestyle goals. The #laribarengjenius program highlights Jenius' role in faithfully accompanying the runners every step of the way.

Febri Rusli, Digital Banking Product & Innovation Head of Bank BTPN said, "Jenius believes that both marathons and financial journeys share the same philosophy: progressing step by step to reach the finish line. Our second year of collaboration underscores Jenius' commitment to the #laribarengjenius spirit, encouraging not just runners but everyone to achieve personal records and turn unthinkable targets into reality. We believe that everyone has their own unique way of reaching their goals, whether in life or finance."

Jenius and Pocari Sweat are hosting the "Road to Pocari Sweat Run Indonesia 2024" in 10 cities, including Makassar. The Makassar event saw over 250 participants engaging in various exciting activities over two days. On June 29, 2024, at the Santika Hotel, Makassar, the event began with a running kit collection, followed by a sharing session and carbo-loading. On June 30, 2024, participants took part in a 5K fun run at the Mandala Monument, accompanied by the Pocari Sweat Pacers and Pocari Sweat Running Team.

The sharing session featured presentations by dr. Andhika Raspati, Pocari Sweat Sport Science Expert, and dr. Umar Usman, a thorax and cardiovascular surgeon specialist from Siloam Hospitals Makassar, who discussed "Do You Like Running? Beware of Cardiac Arrest." Marrisa Widiyanti, Teman Lari Jenius, also shared her journey to participating in international marathon events. Marrisa explained how Jenius helped her with financial preparation before departure and facilitated convenient transactions abroad.

Marrisa Widiyanti, Teman Lari Jenius, shared her unthinkable running journey, "One of the things I love most about marathons is the journey from start to finish. My medal symbolizes my commitment to completing what I started. Marathons have also taught me the importance of financial planning, how preparation goes beyond physical training. It includes saving money for a worry-free trip. Jenius' Dream Saver and Flexi Saver features have been crucial in helping me save for international races. Moreover, during my marathons abroad in cities like Boston, Chicago, and New York, the Jenius Foreign Currency & Debit Card feature has made transactions seamless."

Previously, the “Road to Pocari Sweat Run Indonesia 2024” was successfully held in Balikpapan, Pontianak, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Bogor, Batam, Pekanbaru and Makassar in the period April to June 2024. This event series will continue in Semarang (July 6-7, 2024).
