Jenius Co.Creation Week 2020, Encouraging the Digital Savvy to Embrace the Changes


Jakarta, November 2nd, 2020 - Jenius is holding an annual co-creation and collaboration event, Co. Creation Week 2020, on 2-6 November 2020 virtually. Jenius Co.Creation Week 2020 carries the theme Reshape, to invite digital-savvy community members to familiarize themselves with big changes that are happening in various aspects of our daily lives. The Jenius Co.Creation 2020 series of events consists of competitions, conferences, and talks on technology, creativity, and finance.

 

Irwan S. Tisnabudi, Head of Digital Banking at Bank BTPN, said, “Jenius has always brought co-creation and collaboration from the beginning to provide relevant financial services. Through the annual Jenius Co.Creation Week event, we want to gather more voices and inputs from digital-savvy people in Indonesia. Bearing the theme Reshape, we want to invite digital-savvy people this year to befriend changes, adapt, and generate new ways of living."

 

Many inspirational figures and experts will share strategies and stories of how they make friends with changes and contribute positively to the environment. These inspirational figures include Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa Founder / CEO Veronica Colondam, Disney Indonesia Vice President and Head of Advertising and Brand Partnership Roy Simangunsong, Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Hayu—Penghageng Tepas Tandayekti Kraton Jogja—as well as Papermoon Puppet Theatre Co-Artistic Director Ria Tri Sulistyani, and many more.

 

There will also be the Business Competition and the Jenius UI / UX Challenge during the Jenius Co.Creation Week 2020 series of events.

 

In the Business Competition, participants had to make a business plan and explain their ideas (pitch). Out of a total of 179 teams and 145 people who submitted their ideas and business plans, 5 teams were selected to receive mentoring from academics and entrepreneurship practitioners.

 

The training covered topics that supported their business development, such as the Business Model Canvasing Workshop, Business Operations and Documentation 101, Business Finance, and Marketing 101. The winners also received millions of rupiah in cash prizes. The winners of the business competition in the Jenius Co.Creation Week 2020 are Holi Ice Cream (@holiicecream), Praevia (@ praevia.id), and Miwa (@makananmiwa).

 

Meanwhile, the Jenius UI / UX Challenge is a competition to create an interactive and fun UI / UX design for the Jenius application to boost more frequent usage of the app by Jenius users. This competition involved more than 600 individuals and team participants, and 10 finalists were selected to present their ideas in the final round.

 

Jenius carried out co-creation and collaboration programs through various channels.

 

As of August 2020, Jenius had conducted co-creation and collaboration programs through more than 300 online surveys, focus group discussions, and in-depth interviews involving more than 40,000 digital-savvy people from all over Indonesia.

 

From inputs, voices, and ideas that Jenius had gathered from digital-savvy people, Jenius introduced a series of revolutionary feature innovations throughout 2020, including Jenius for Business, Multi Flexi Saver, Moneytory, Jenius QR, and BNI TapCash Top-up.

 

Jenius Co.Create has also continued to co-create and collaborate during the pandemic through more than 52 online classes on various topics. More than 4,000 digital-savvy people who live in Indonesia and abroad, such as Belgium and New Zealand, participated in the classes.
