BTPN OFFICIALLY OPENED BTPN | SINAYA MEDAN BRANCH


Opens the Opportunity for the Customer to Participate in the Mass Market Empowerment

Medan – 28 October 2011. PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Tbk (BTPN), officially opened btpn I sinaya at Jl. Asia no 95G, Medan, North Sumatra. The Vice President Director of BTPN Ongki W. Dana officially opened the branch. This btpn I sinaya office is the 22nd Sinaya office from the total BTPN offices network, which are more than 1,100 offices spread over from Aceh to Papua.

“This opening of Medan Asia office is one of the forms of the strategic plan of BTPN in introducing btpn I sinaya. Sinaya is a brand for funding business of BTPN, which has various competitively strong products and services, such as safe deposit product, personal prime services, comfy branch offices, as well as giving out optimum return,” explained Ongki W. Dana as the Vice President Director of BTPN.

Ongki added, “More over such advantages, by becoming the customer in btpn I sinaya, the customer has also directly participated in the mission to empower millions of mass market in Indonesia. Based on these premises we call our financing business as ‘Sinaya’, which is the abbreviation of ‘Sinar yang Memberdayakan’ or ‘The empowering light’”

In its effort to empower mass market, BTPN has a sustainable and measured mass market empowerment program named ‘Daya’. The beneficiaries of ‘Daya’ program are the customers of BTPN who are the retiree community, micro & small enterprise (MSE) community, as well as productive poor community. With ‘Daya’, BTPN does not only provide financial solution, but also enhance the customer’s capacity. Up to end of September 2011, “Daya” program has been enjoyed by more than 900,000 retirees, MSE beneficiaries, and productive poor productive community.

With the objective to gather third party fund through several deposit products offered, the service of btpn | sinaya can be enjoyed through the offices located in the business as well as premium residential areas. Currently, BTPN has owned 22 Sinaya Branches and 31 Sinaya Centers in 33 cities in Indonesia.

According to Ongki, the opening of btpn I sinaya office in Medan, can also support the big economic growth potential of Medan. Copying the data of Bank Indonesia (August 2011), banking third party Fund in Medan City reaches Rp 88,1 trillion, which contributes 76.4% of North Sumatra’s total third party Fund of Rp 115.3 trillion. That shows the business potential of Medan city as well as becoming the barometer of the economic growth and business of North Sumatra.

”This opening of btpn I sinaya Medan is also the form of BTPN’s commitment to continuously grow its business as well as to increase its role in providing the contribution of the Indonesia economy especially in Medan through the optimization of the intermediation function, specifically on the collection of Third Party Fund as well as the empowerment of the mass market customers,” added Ongki.
