BTPN HELD EMPOWERMENT MASS MARKET PROGRAM IN MAKASSAR


Makassar - Wednesday, 19 October 2011, PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Tbk (BTPN) introduces the empowerment program called “Daya” at BTPN Toddopuli Branch Office, Makassar. Through “Daya” program, BTPN offers the opportunity to grow to millions of mass market in Indonesia, which becomes the main focus of BTPN. “Daya” also becomes the uniquevalue proposition for BTPN from its competitor.

“Daya” program for this time round is “Daya Tumbuh Usaha”. Januar Rusdianto as the Head of Daya Tumbuh Usaha BTPN discloses, ”Daya Tumbuh Usaha, is the empowerment program to promote our customer’s skill in entrepreneurship. Activities are performed through business enterprise practical training, and micro business franchise. This activity is facilitated by certified instructors within the entire operational area of BTPN.”

Further Januar explained, “Through Daya Tumbuh Usaha, we hope that BTPN’s customers, whom this time round are the micro and small enterprises (MSE) in Makassar, own new horizon in managing their businesses. The practical tips shared along the training, are simple methods which can be used directly by the customers to grow their businesses.” The practical tips are delivered to the customers in simple language supported by interesting visual presentation, so that the customers can understand this “Daya Tumbuh Usaha” training easier.

“Daya” has three program pillars. Other than “Daya” tumbuh Usaha, the other two pillars are “Daya” Sehat Sejahtera, which is the sharing of information and consultation surrounding physical and body health issue, as well as the health examination for promotional and prevention objectives. The third pillar is “Daya” Tumbuh Komunitas, which is community adoption program to enhance the skill, business and health success, and to open marketing access.

“National wise, the beneficiaries of “Daya” program up to the end of September 2011 reaches 900,000 customers. The beneficiaries are mass market customers, who are the MSE, retirees, and productive poor community.” Said Januar.

Januar added the empowerment program done by BTPN to date receives very positive response from the customers. Based on the measurement of the activity evaluation result, the average of customer satisfaction reaches 90%.
