BTPN WINS THE RECOGNITION AS THE BEST BANK 2008


Bandung (Admin). BTPN's impressive performance of 2007 have borne fruit as the Bank gained various awards this year, namely the Best Bank by Investor Magazine for asset size of Rp 1 trillion - Rp 25 trillion and Efficient Bank by Bisnis Indonesia Daily for asset size of Rp 1 trillion - Rp 10 trillion.

 

Additionally, in the ranking of 50 Best Banks 2008, BTPN took the 12th position, going up from the 18th rank in 2007.

 

The complete list of commercial banks selected as the winners of the Best Banks 2008 by Investor Magazine is: BRI won the award for banks with total assets above Rp 50 trillion. Meanwhile, under the category of banks with total assets of Rp 25 trillion - Rp 50 trillion, LippoBank was selected as the winner. The category of banks with total assets of Rp 1 trillion - Rp 25 trillion was won by BTPN and MayBank Corp while the winner of banks with total assets below Rp 1 trillion was Bank Bisnis. On the same occasion, Bank Jawa Tengah and Bank Jambi won the Regional Development Bank awards.

 

Additionally, the winner of representative bank category was JP Morgan Chase Bank and Bank Mandiri was selected as the winner of the Best Consumers Banking category.

 

The success in winning such award was of course due to the hard work of all employees and directors, who have shown a spirit of high Integrity, Professionalism, and Responsibility in transforming BTPN to be "a bank that cares" in Indonesia. Congratulations! (FDT)
