BTPN COMMENCES SHARIA UNIT

Bandung (Admin). After 50 years of operations, BTPN has been fully ready to commence Islamic-based banking under sharia unit that was officially opened in the office complex of Cikapundung on Monday, 11th February. This new unit will provide solutions for customers who need Islamic-based financial services.

Sharia banks are basically banking institutions that mainly provide loans and other services within payment and money transactions, as well as other financial operations by adhering to Islamic principles. As BTPN's Board of Directors aspires to deliver the services according to customers' needs, other sharia branches will also be set up in Jakarta.

The soft opening ceremony was opened by President Director Paul Wiranata, and attended by the other BOD members, i.e. Director of Compliance and Risk Management Taufik Hakim and Gandhi G. Putra Ismail - Director of Business. Congratulations. (FDT)
