THE GATHERING BETWEEN HEAD OFFICE AND WEST JAVA REGION

Bandung (Admin). On Monday, 22nd October, BTPN's Directors held a gathering reception with the employees after they came back from a long celebration of Ied Al Fitr 1428 H. The gathering was simple, yet meaningful for everyone.

To create the ambiance, the gathering started with Islamic religious music performed by BTPN Band and followed by a director speech presented by Director of Business Gandhi G. Putra Ismail.

The event continued with Islamic sermon by KH Aam Amiruddin that conveyed universal values and deep spiritual meaning. The sermon contained three messages expressed with humors that 55 minutes seemed to pass very quickly. The first message was that we must work hard to give our best in life. The second message was to pray in the language that we understand, with humility and confidence that our prayers would be answered either immediately or otherwise. The third message was to be grateful and patient. Life always fluctuates, we are sometimes at the top, and sometimes at the bottom, but all things in life must be cherished and we have to always be patient.

K.H. Aam Amiruddin also explained about the meaning of silaturahmi. The word silaturahmi actually means unconditional LOVE. In life, we must do everything with love. The love that is genuine, sincere, and willing to sacrifice. The love we give to our job, our family, and most importantly, our God. (FDT)
