BANK INDONESIAN CONDUCTS LIMITED OPERATIONS ON 17TH TO 19TH OCTOBER 2007


Jakarta (Admin). In connection with the collective decision made by the Minister of Religious Affairs, the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration, and the Minister of Administrative Reform dated 1st October 2007 on National Holidays and Collective Leave in 2007, we hereby announce that Bank Indonesia will follow the decision to set 12th to 19th October 2007 as non business days.

However, Bank Indonesia will continue to operate on a limited basis on Wednesday - Friday, 17-19 October 2007, particularly for the operations related to BI-RTGS system, clearing and cash activities, which will continue to operate as usual. "With cash and non cash payment system remain in operations, Bank Indonesia expects to accommodate the needs of banking transactions and that economic activities will continue to run as usual during the collective leave period in the celebration of Eid Al Fitr holiday of 1st Syawal 1428 H in Islamic calendar," stated S. Budi Rochadi, Deputy Governor - Payment System.
