As a bank with wide infrastructure, Bank BTPN has been chosen by the government to become one of the banks providing branchless services as part of the OJK (Financial Services Authority) programs which aim to open financial service access to the public who have yet to receive banking services.

BTPN Wow! is a practical and affordable banking service which use mobile phone technology and is supported by branchless service agents who serve as a representative of Bank BTPN and is called BTPN Wow! agents.

With BTPN Wow!, banking transaction has become easier and simpler because opening an account, saving and withdrawing only needs a simple mobile phone and can be done in all Bank BTPN branchless agents or the BTPN Wow! agents. Any transaction is done through fast celluler network and the process is easy, cheap and save.

BTPN Wow! is a basic saving account (BSA) which is regulated and monitored by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and is guaranteed by the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS).

 

Dormant Account

Starting January 2021, dormant system will be implemented for inactive BTPN Wow! accounts (no record of debit/credit transaction nor account access for 6 consecutive months). Dorman accounts will be blocked and charged for Rp. 1.000/month (dormant fees will be charged monthly on the 15, and can be debited from the main account balance and/or from the sub-account balance).

Be a BTPN Wow! Agent

BTPN Wow! Agents are business owners. The range includes grocery stores to other small home businesses. Some others are individuals with fixed income who has met the requirements to be Bank BTPN  representative. The Agents are BTPN Wow representatives provide  banking services to customers, to make banking services accesible to anyone. All banking transactions provided by Agents are done through mobile phone, simply by typing *365#, hence all BTPN Wow! Agents are required to have a mobile phone.

 

BTPN Wow! Agents services include the followings:

  1. Account opening
  2. Cash deposit service
  3. Cash withdrawal service
  4. Over the counter services (top up prepaid credit, top up data plan, top up e-wallet or bill payment)

Interested in becoming an agent? It’s easy!

  1. Register your mobile phone number as your agent’s account number.
  2. Complete the registration to a nearby BTPN Wow! Agent or via email btpncare@btpn.com, BTPN Call 1500 300 and WA Agent Tanya BTPN Wow! 0878 22 247 365.
  3. Prepare all documents required: agent registration form, Letter of Business Domicile from local community principle/ Letter of recommendation from workplace, identity card and taxpayer identification number/ Statement letter not having taxpayer identification number.
  4. Wait for verification from BTPN.
  5. Upon verification pass, agent will have to sign a cooperation agreement.
  6. Once process is complete, registration is done and agent is ready.
