As a bank with wide infrastructure, Bank BTPN has been chosen by the government to become one of the banks providing branchless services as part of the OJK (Financial Services Authority) programs which aim to open financial service access to the public who have yet to receive banking services.
BTPN Wow! is a practical and affordable banking service using USSD-based technology and Android-based mobile app, supported by branchless service agents as a representative of Bank BTPN and is called BTPN Wow! agents.
BTPN Wow! enables easy, smooth, simple banking transaction, where opening an account, saving and withdrawing uses only mobile phone, as well as BTPN Wow agents. Transactions are done through USSD-based technology and Android-based mobile app and the process is easy, safe and low-cost.

BTPN Wow! is a basic saving account (BSA) which is regulated and monitored by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and is guaranteed by the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS).
Starting January 2021 a new dormant system is implemented to inactive BTPN Wow! accounts. Effective as of 17 Sept 2021 Bank BTPN make changes to the provisions regarding the status of an account which will be an inactive account if there are no debit/credit transactions within 6 consecutive months, thus it will be a passive/dormant account after 12 months. Starting August 15, 2022, Inactive and/or passive/dormant accounts will be blocked and charged for Rp. 5.000/month (inactive and passive/dormant account fees will be charged monthly on the 15, and can be debited from the main account balance and/or from the sub-account balance).
