CLOSING THE YEAR 2007 BY EXPANDING THE NETWORK

Bandung (Admin). At the end of 2007, BTPN has expanded its network by opening a new branch in Denpasar. Listed as the 36th branch, this branch opening is a starting point before future expansion to the eastern part of the country.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of Bank Indonesia - Bali Branch, the Regional Government of Bali and Denpasar City Government, as well as BTPN's executives, i.e. President Commissioner Dorodjatun Kuntjoro Jakti, President Director Paul Wiranata, Director of Operations - Michael Hoetabarat, and the Head of Regional Office of Eastern Indonesia - Asep Nurdin Alfalah, and a number of employees.

BTPN - Denpasar branch will be one of the benchmarks to measure the Bank's success in expanding to the middle-eastern part of the country, because this branch has been equipped with online, real-time operational network where transactions made can be displayed immediately in the Head Office.

Amidst the grand opening of BTPN Denpasar, President Commissioner Dorodjatun Kuntjoro Jakti spared his time to visit the Economic Faculty of Udayana University, Bali to give a general lecture on "the Analysis on Poverty Alleviation in Indonesia."

BTPN - Denpasar branch will serve customers with a variety of banking products such as savings, time deposits, and bank guarantees, in addition to other services e.g. clearing, collection, transfer, payment points for pensioners, electricity and telephone bill payment services, and payroll services.
