Indonesia's financial literacy index, based on the 2022 National Survey of Financial Literacy and Inclusion, stands at 49.68%. Bank BTPN supports the government's efforts to further enhance the financial literacy of the Indonesian population.
Therefore, Bank BTPN has established a financial literacy program aimed at empowering participants to:
1. Select and utilize financial products and services that meet their needs.
2. Improve their financial planning abilities.
3. Avoid engaging in investments involving unclear financial instruments.
The financial literacy program is conducted through face-to-face meetings, online seminars/trainings, and the daya.id website. It targets a wide audience, including high school students, employees, and prospective retirees. Topics covered include Proper Savings Techniques, Salary Management Strategies, Debt Management Techniques, Understanding Types of Investments and Their Risks, and more.
In 2022, the financial literacy seminar/training program was attended by 6,917 participants, and online learning materials, including infographics, were accessed by 551,268 users.
