ESG Deposit

A time deposit product designed to empower corporate ventures by funding in loans and commitments that align with rigorous ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance).

Customers’ involvement can contribute to finance ESG projects across a wide range of categories such as renewable energy, green building, clean transportation, energy efficiency, environmentally sustainable management of living natural resources and land use, employment generation, food security and sustainable food system, socioeconomic advancement, and empowerment, etc.

Product overview    

  • This product provides returns in accordance with the interest rate agreed upon at the start of the placement if the placement is filled until maturity
  • A customer who withdraws his or her funds before the maturity date will become a subject of penalty and change the status to be standard time deposit
  • All paid interest are subject to taxes stipulated by the government
  • Minimum placement of USD 1,000,000 or equivalent
  • Available in a minimum tenor of 20 days – 12 months
  • Automatic renewal (Automatic Roll Over – ARO) does not applicable
  • There is a limit on the total sum of green deposits that can be accepted. Please note that there is a possibility that an existing ESG Deposit cannot be rolled over after reaching its maturity date
  • Available in US Dollars and Rupiah

  • Available for corporate customers
  • Complete the terms and conditions signing, submit request form, and product opening/placement form
  • Own a savings account or demand deposit account with BTPN as a source of funds and funds receipt account to withdraw the time deposit.
