BTPN CELEBRATES GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY


Bandung (Admin). In the celebration of its golden anniversary, BTPN was finally ready to offer 28.39% share ownership through Initial Public Offering for the price range of Rp 2,700-2950. This was announced in the Bank's Public Expose held last week, on Monday 18th February 2008 in Jakarta. On the same day, all its branch offices across the country celebrated its golden anniversary.

 

Also, on 20-24 February, BTPN organized BTPN National Sporting Week (Pekan Olah Raga Nasional - PORSENAS) participated by its entire operational network that consisted of six (6) regions: Sumatra region, Jakarta region, West Java region, Central Java and Yogyakarta region, East Java region, Eastern Indonesia region, and the Head Office.

 

PORSENAS was opened by Business Director Gandhi G. Putra Ismail on Wednesday, 20th February 2008, in a ceremony attended by at least 700 athletes, all of whom are the Bank's employees. The sports week held the theme "50 years of BTPN - a Momentum to Improve Integrity, Responsibility, and Professionalism, towards a Better Future".

 

Other than the sporting competitions of table tennis, tennis, chess, badminton, bowling, and futsal, vocal group and modern dance were also included in PORSENAS 2008.

 

At the end of the sporting week, West Java region was declared as the grand champion, a title that was held by East Java region in the previous year. The Head of West Java Region Tutun Hanurani represented her region to receive the trophy from President Director Paul Wiranata. Congratulations to West Java region. (FDT)
