DIRECTORS BRIEFING: MORE MEANINGFUL LIFE

Bandung (Admin). On Thursday, 30th August, a "Coffee Morning" program tool place at the Hall of BTPN Head Office, followed by a briefing of the Board of Directors.

The progress of the Bank is evidenced by the Bank's assets that increased 75% over the level achieved in 2006. Based on the published financial statements as of 30th June 2007, the Bank's assets reached Rp8.393 trillion, total TPF collected by the Funding Officers Team amounted to Rp6.864 trillion, lending was Rp6.534 trillion.

This was a remarkable achievement. Even more, in 2007, BTPN won the awards from InfoBank and Investor magazines. Of course, we all must be grateful for this, President Director Paul Wiranata reminded all employees of the Head Office who attended the event.

Everyone must be able to feel grateful for the efforts made by the management to improve the employees' welfare through salary raise, allowances, bonuses and incentives, and more conducive working environment. Pak Paul also said that as an employee, everyone must work with these principles:
1. Integrity - the honesty in the behavior such as NOT using company facilities for personal business.
2. Responsibility - the obligation to carry out the tasks to achieve predetermined corporate goals.
3. Professional - working in accordance with the job description and taking the reward for the contribution made.

The Directors' staff advisor Darwan Siregar also added that all employees must always put in mind the two crucial elements: the LOYALTY & the LOVE for the Company.

The briefing also included a Q&A session and the employees participated enthusiastically by asking many questions such as around the plan to install online system that was expected to be realized in the near future since ATM facility was very important for a bank. Employees also suggested that the Company provided staff loans for the employees of the Head Office, considering the growing needs for housing, education, and other household needs. Questions were also asked regarding health insurance that would cover outpatient treatment as well as the presence of labor union that would act as a mediator between employees and the management to improve welfare, and not as an organization that would "disrupt company stability."

The briefing was concluded with a prayer led by the Head of sharia unit A.S. Faiquzaman. (FDT)
