Bandung (Admin). BTPN's Marathon Race "10 K" on Sunday, 16th August was really an exciting event. Around 3,000 people - students, seniors, and BTPN's employees enthusiastically took part in the race and started to standby at the starting line at Jl. Juanda Bawah since 06.00 am.

BTPN Band and a number of dangdut singers also performed to move "the runners" who danced away with the music. With such great welcome, many suggested to the committee that this event should be held regularly. Katty Bow and Ronny from Ardan Radio carried out the event with fresh jokes and the audience really had a great fun.

Lucky draw prizes were also donated by a number of sponsors such as Esia CDMA from Bakrie Telecom, gifts from Pikiran Rakyat, and cosmetic sets from PT Suka Sukses Sejati. PT Telkom Indonesia and PT Putra Andalah Sejahtera presented 3 units of Suzuki motor vehicles, and a number of other companies also donated refrigerators, 29-inch and 21-inch television sets, water dispensers, DVD players, VCD players, radio tape players, gas stoves and cellular telephones.

The marathon consisted of several categories. The top three winners of male student category were M. Alqurais -winner, Aji - first runner-up, and Setiana - second runner-up. For female student category, the winner was Puji S., followed by Indah Yunarni - first runner-up and Neli N. - second runner-up. Meanwhile, the winner of general female category was Ulat Ningsih, followed Siti Muawanah and Mutiara in the second and third positions. And lastly, the winner of general male category was Agus Prayogo, followed by Ferry Junaedi (first runner-up) and Osias Kamlase (second runner-up).

For each category, only the first 20 runners who reached the finish line within 1.5 hours could meet the criteria as winners. In addition to the above categories, three other categories also participated in the marathon: college students, seniors, and BTPN's employees. Congratulations to the winners.

In the midst of his busy schedule, Director of Business Gandhi G. Putra Ismail also took part in the race and ran with the participants. Congratulations to the committee for the successful race! Bravo BTPN! (FDT)
